External tool cupboards (referring to TCs that surround your base and are not connected to it) do not need an entrance if they meet this requirement: Maximum 2 layers of walls to get to the TC from any direction. Unless you have doors to the TC, if so you could build any size external TC (that would just be considered a base at that point).
External tool cupboards (that follow the rules above) can only store loot necessary for upkeep of that structure. Using walled off external tool cupboards as a form of main loot storage isn’t allowed.
Griefing other players bases is allowed, even if it means you wall off their loot. If this is done as a “workaround” to walling off your own or your friends loot however, it will be considered loot that requires /remove to access and would be against the rules.
Placing down Tool Cupboards to stop someone from building there (aka griefing TC) is allowed as long as it complies with external tool cupboard rules listed above.
Fully walling yourself in somewhere with the intent to teleport out is not allowed. This would be considered abuse of the Remove and Teleport tools.
Base Design - You can build any vanilla base design as long as:
It is fully functional as if it were on a vanilla server: For example, the half wall in a stability bunker base design shouldn’t be any material above wood and the wall above should actually break when you break the half wall.
It does not require /remove to access the loot.
It has a clear path/entryway to the loot (including your tool cupboard).
It is not one of the base designs that are not allowed (listed below).
Base Designs Not Allowed
Fully walled rooms using sleeping bags and drop boxes are considered walling in loot and are not allowed.
Bases designs with no entrance of any kind are not allowed. Bases using designs such as a “bunker”, would be allowed as they still have an entrance that functions on a vanilla server.
Bases used for the purpose of fully “walling yourself in” to teleport out are not allowed.
